Welcome |
Built in 1876, the charming Henry
Holmes House has been restored and upgraded with modern conveniences.
Each of its four bedrooms offers its own private bath, phone, and cable
t.v.
As our guest, you'll be invited to breakfast in the historic dining room
followed by a chance to read the paper and relax by the fireplace in the
Italianate parlor.
Afterward step off our porch and into the picturesque town of Hudson.
Reflect on the warmth and friendship of passersby as you stroll down
First & Main Shopping District visiting our many little stores and
eateries.
Or, if you prefer, visit nearby "Western Reserve Academy"
(founded 1826
by James W. Ellsworth) and take in rich architecture, including the
second oldest observatory in the U.S. Rent a bike and trail the Cuyahoga
Valley National Park, or drive to the nearby Inventors Hall of Fame,
Football Hall of Fame or Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. To learn a little
more about the area, visit our own "Hudson Library and Historical
Society". And, at sundown, there's nothing like sitting a spell in Town
Square and listening to the church bells and our
L'il Big Ben.
In the evening, Hudson offers a broad range of dining experiences, from
the Mom and Pop-style "Yours Truly Restaurant" to fine cuisine at "Vue",
"Downtown 140", or "Old Whedon Grille", and you'll be ready for one of
our comfy beds.
So, whether you're on a business trip and looking for the comforts of
home, or just looking for that perfect romantic getaway, come join us at
Hudson's Historic Inn. We'd love to have you.
